aMessage from our President

Hey y’all! Welcome to the Sigma Lambda chapter of Kappa Delta. We are so thrilled that you are here! My name is Eliza Gregory, and I have the privilege of serving as our 2024 Chapter President. Grateful does not even begin to describe how blessed I am to have the opportunity to serve this chapter and everything amazing that comes with it. The Governing Council, Executive Board, and Appointed Officers are filled with the most hardworking, selfless, and admirable women and I look forward to working alongside them every day. 

While going through recruitment, I leaned on the Lord to guide me to a sisterhood that would support, love, and encourage me—I was so thankful to have been provided with that and so much more. Each and every one of the women in this chapter is truly an answered prayer. Every memory whether it is a laugh, cry, smile, hug, adventure, late night or early morning are unforgettable memories that I know I will cherish for a lifetime. Because of this sisterhood, I have grown so much as a person, leader, and friend. 

The open motto of Kappa Delta is “Let us strive for that which is honorable, beautiful, and highest.” We are built on the platform of instilling confidence in women, both within and outside of our sorority. I am so proud of the way our members embody this motto and our platform every day. I hope I have given you a glimpse of what makes this chapter so special to me and our members – a sisterhood that will last us a lifetime.
